Dramatic footage showing the moment fugitive aristocrat Constance Marten and Mark Gordon refused to tell police where their daughter was while being arrested after weeks on the run has been seen in court.

Body-worn camera footage shows the moment police are asking Marten 'where is your child?' Marten looks back blankly at officers as they question her.

Marten, 36, and Gordon, 49, are accused of killing their newborn baby Victoria by taking her on the run in January last year to prevent the child being taken away by social services.

Police finally tracked them down to the Hollingbury area of Brighton on February 27 after they were spotted by a member of the public.

They declined to say where their baby was before her body was found in a Lidl supermarket bag covered in rubbish in a disused shed.
