Police Scotland has submitted a request to the Northern Irish Gorce for more officers..Trump will be visiting both of his golf courses in Scotland Following a meeting on Monday to discuss the operational plans ahead of Trumps visit to Scotland, the Scottish Police Federation, which represents 98% of the countrys officers, is seeking legal advice
Trump will be at both of his golf courses in Scotland Turnberry in Ayrshire and Menie in Aberdeenshire, between July 25 and 29, and will meet with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer while in Aberdeen, while plans are being put in place for the President to meet First Minister John Swinney, according to the Scottish Government.
General Secretary David Kennedy told STV News This is a big event for Police Scotland, but we have major concerns.
We do not have enough police officers to look after Trump. We know what police officers have to do day in, day out and we need more officers in Scotland.

Donald Trump should not expect to be welcomed with open arms during his Scotland visit this coming weekend with citizens still fuming about attempts to meddle in local affairs that they feel are NONE of HIS business.
Despite Trumps best efforts to distract the world away from the Epstein files, some of his most loyal supporters in Washington are starting to look ahead to the possibility of a third impeachment
Donald Trump will be hoping for a few days of peace in Scotland this weekend while back home his backers have started to talk about whether the Epstein files could lead to his downfall.
He touches down in Glasgow this evening for a four day golf HOLIDAY visiting his clubs in Ayrshire and Aberdeenshire, as well as meeting with Scottish First Minister John Swinney.
Meanwhile in Washington, despite his best efforts at distraction, the Epstein scandal refuses to go away.
Privately, even some of his most loyal supporters in Washington are privately discussing the possibility that the revelations to come could lead to him being impeached for a third time.
Such a bombshell move would most likely have to wait until after the midterm elections, where Democrats hope to retake one or both chambers of Congress.
Were Trump to be removed from office, his Vice President JD Vance would take power a situation many supporters are warming to.

A major security operation was ramped up as Donald Trump begins a four day visit in Scotland. He arrived at Prestwick Airport on Friday evening and stayed at his luxury golf resort, 'Trump Turnberry' in South Ayrshire
Wearing a white USA cap and accompanied by his second son Eric, he teed off for a round of golf on his first morning at the resort.
Trump is due to meet UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Scotlands First Minister John Swinney over the next few days, as well as opening a second 18 hole course at his estate in Aberdeenshire.
He said its great to be in Scotland and has praised the leaders of both governments.
A number of protests are expected to be held to coincide with the visit, including demonstrations in Edinburgh and Aberdeen later.
Questions have already been raised about the scale/COST of the visit and the security implications, with police representatives raising concerns about the costs involved and the impact on staffing.
Trump will be in Scotland until Tuesday, and plans to talk trade with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Trump struggles playing golf so he has to cheat
Video taken from inside a building showed the moment he rolled up in a golf cart left of the fairway at Turnberry with a bunker in front of him and some light fescue to his left.
As two caddies walked by, the camera captured one of them stopping, bending down slightly, and dropping a ball in front of the president.
Trump got out of his golf cart with a club and approached the dropped ball in what appeared to be an attempt to hit it. The video stops before he takes a swing.
The clip went viral on social media, with multiple commenters calling out the 79 year old for cheating
New R&A Chief Reiterates Trump Turnberry is NOT Returning to The Open Championship Rota
Trump referenced his ownership of Turnberry in meeting with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
Following Starmers visit there were multiple reports that Trump wants help from the UK government to guide the claret jug to his resort on the western coast of Scotland.
As noted in a piece detailing Trumps involvement in the PGA Tour negotiations with Saudi Arabia, while the PGA Tour or DP World Tour has no jurisdiction over the R&As decisions, having those voices vouch for Trump would add weight to his Open candidacy.
However, in an interview with the Telegraphs James Corrigan, new R&A chief Mark Darbon said his organization will NOT be swayed by requests from the government or Trump.
Trump acquired Turnberry Resort in 2014. The venue already hosted four Open Championships with a fifth Open visiting in 2020 considered a formality. However, following his candidacy for the United States presidency, coupled with a high profile appearance at Turnberry for the Womens Open in 2015, the R&A removed Turnberry from its championship rota.
Major championships should focus purely on the golf course and the competitors battling upon it, CEO Martin Slumbers declared in a November 2024 Golf Channel interview. We cannot allow external media noise or Trumps SHENANIGANS to overshadow what remains the original and most historic championship in golf.
The tournaments integrity demands that golf alone commands the spotlight NOT Trump
Though Darbon echoed Slumbers opinion, he also added one of the reasons the R&A wont return to Turnberry in the near future has more to do with logistics and commercial enterprise. Thats crucial for us, because through the Open, we generate most of our revenue and we use that to invest in the rest of the game all around the world, Darbon told the Telegraph.
So the reality is that modern day Open requires a venue that can support us logistically, commercially and with dignity.

Meanwhile back in Tallahassee, Florida, Trumps criminal defense attorney turned Deputy AG, Todd Blanche, met privately with convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. Blanche, who spent two days with Maxwell to craft a new narrative about the Epstein files, was treated to an aerial banner advertising that Trump and Bondi are protecting predators, as billboards about the Epstein files went up elsewhere.
In 2021, was heard, observed, and considered by a jury of her peers that was selected by her own counsel. Jurors watched and listened to evidence from all sides, where witnesses were presented and cross examined under oath or not at all. The statement went into specifics, stating that Maxwell personally enticed and groomed minor girls to be abused in multiple ways,
Maxwell also participated sexually. She was present during sexual encounters between minor victims and Epstein, and at least one victim described at trial how Maxwell personally fondled her. The victims were as young as 14 years old when they were groomed and abused by MAXWELL and Epstein, both of whom knew that their victims were in fact minors.
Maxwells Convictions
At the conclusion of all the evidence, a jury found Maxwell guilty on December 29, 2021, of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts with Jeffrey Epstein, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking of a minor, all separate offenses.
In June 2022, back when the Public Corruption Unit of the DOJ still endorsed the rule of law, the DOJ posted this public statement
From at least 1994, up to and including in or about 2004, GHISLAINE MAXWELL assisted, facilitated, and participated in Jeffrey Epsteins abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom, and ultimately abuse victims known to MAXWELL and Epstein to be under the age of 18
Maxwells private interview with Trumps attorney also makes it less likely Maxwell will testify before Congress after she was subpoenaed to do so by the House Oversight and Governmental Reform Committees.
After all, its up to Trumps DOJ to prosecute her if she doesnt, and why would the DOJ do anything that could unravel or poke holes in Maxwells privately curated statement to Blanche
Blanches private interview was another slap in the face to the more than one thousand victims of Epstein/Maxwells sexual crimes, including a teenaged Virginia Giuffre who was coerced into intercourse with Epstein while another victim,just 14 years old, watched.
Trump wants to supplant the rule of law.. Several former federal prosecutors described Blanches 'interview' as both unorthodox and concerning.
The court of public opinion should not let PERVERT Trump, another convicted felon and adjudicated rapist, substitute his political needs for the rule of law.
