Former NFL owner Dan Snyder invested in a biopic about Donald Trumps' years being mentored by infamous right-wing lawyer Roy Cohn -- and he is reportedly furious with the final product because of the way the former president is portrayed in it.
In particular, he was offended by a scene where Trump is seen raping his first wife Ivana.

Snyder, who recently sold his Washington Commanders NFL team under pressure from his fellow owners, put money into the production of the film through his Kinematics company, adding to the $1.1 million he donated to the one-term presidents inaugural committee after Trumps' 2016 presidential election victory.
Few details about the film that includes Trumps relationship with controversial attorney Roy Cohn, portrayed by actor Jeremy Strong, have been revealed, but Snyder as an investor, got a sneak peek before its Cannes premiere and he did not like what he saw.
Snyder put money into the film's production "because he was under the impression that it was a flattering portrayal of the 45th president," and is now reported "to be furious" with the final result.
"Kinematics’ lawyers were enlisted to fight the release of 'The Apprentice,' and the cease-and-desist letters began flying. Kinematics president Emanuel Nuñez insists that the creative impasse between his company and the filmmakers didn’t involve Snyder," the report states before adding, "Sources familiar with the back and forth say Snyder took issue with multiple aspects of the film and weighed in on what should be changed.
'The Apprentice" featured a scene where Trump rapes Ivana. One insider, familiar with the scene that is in the current cut, described it as 'violent' and 'uncomfortable' and follows a fight between the couple.
In a 1989 divorce deposition, Ivana accused Trump of raping her.
But Ivana — who died in 2022 — later refuted these claims in 2015, saying, 'The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of.'

During their divorce in 1991, Donald Trumps' ex-wife Ivana accused him of "raping" her three years previously.
The allegation resurfaced in Matt Frei's Channel 4 documentary The Mad World of Donald Trump.
The allegation appeared in a sworn deposition made by Ivana Trump reported in the 1993 book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump, by Harry Hurt III.
According to Lost Tycoon, Ms Trump accused him of rape after he allegedly attacked her in a "violent assault".
He is alleged to have ripped off her clothes to have sex with her.
The book claims she told her friends: "He raped me."

Harry Hurt III's book publisher won't reprint a Donald Trump biography because it's "too dangerous," at least according to its author.
The book, "Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump," revealed Trumps first wife, Ivana, accused him of rape during their divorce proceedings. She later said the claim of rape, made during a sworn deposition, wasn't meant in "criminal" terms.
The book was originally published 23 years ago, but the rape allegation resurfaced in a Daily Beast report last year. Ivana Trump has since told CNN the story "is totally without merit."
Harry Hurt III, the book's author, told The Daily Beast he asked his former editor at publisher W.W. Norton & Co. if they'd reprint the book. Hurt said the publisher's in-house lawyer nixed it.
Hurt told The Daily Beast, "It's chickens***, since the book has been out for 23 years, and no one has even threatened to sue me."
The editor and lawyer wouldn't comment for that story. Hurt said he bought the rights to the book and released a Kindle version. However, he's still looking for another publisher.
Hurt would certainly benefit financially from a reprint, especially if it came out during the remainder of Trumps campaign.
