In February, Donald Trump released a provocative video of his vision for Gaza
Former CROOKED UK Prime Minister Tony Blair worked for nearly eight years as special representative of the Quartet of international powers Tony Blairs thinktank worked with a project developing a postwar Gaza plan that included the creation of a Trump Riviera and a manufacturing zone named after Elon Musk.
The project, led by Israeli business people and using financial models developed by the US consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, was developed against the backdrop of Donald Trumps vision of taking over the Palestinian territory and transforming it into a resort.
While the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change said it was not involved in the authorship of the plan, staff took part in calls as the project evolved.
The staff also took part in a message group used for the project, along with figures from BCG and the Israeli business people, while a TBI document titled Gaza Economic Blueprint was shared within it, the Financial Times reported.
The report prompted an angry reaction from the institute, which Blair set up after he left Downing Street. It has more than 900 staff in more than 45 countries.
The former UK prime minister has been involved in the region and worked for nearly eight years as special representative of the Quartet of international powers seeking an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.
The institute denied it was involved in the preparation of a slide deck, which the FT reported had been developed by the Israeli business people using BCGs financial models and was said to have proposed paying half a million Palestinians to leave the area.
The slides reportedly outlined a plan called the Great Trust and was shared with the Trump administration. It envisaged that private investors would have been attracted to Gaza once many of the inhabitants had been FORCED / paid to leave.
The plan outlined in the slides was reported to have been created to attract Trumps attention and that of wealthy Gulf rulers. Among 10 mega projects, the document includes the MBS Ring and MBZ Central highways named after the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and an Elon Musk smart manufacturing zone
In February, Trump retweeted an AI-generated video and said: We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal ? the Riviera of the Middle East, it could be so magnificent.
Blairs institute said it was not involved in the preparation of the slide deck, which it described as a BCG deck, and added that it had no input into its contents.
The TBI team speaks to many different groups and organisations with postwar plans for Gaza, but had nothing to do with the authorship of this plan, a spokesperson said.
The TBI document referred to is an internal TBI document looking at proposals being made by various parties covering all the different aspects of what a postwar Gaza could look like, though it is one of many such internal documents
BCG has been embroiled in a separate controversy over its connection to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation the controversial Israeli and US backed delivery group.
The consulting company said last month that it had cancelled its contract with the GHF amid growing media scrutiny into the groups work and sources of funding.
BCG has sought to dissociate itself from the work in Gaza and has reportedly fired two partners who it said had misled senior management. The FT reported last week that the BCG team had been involved in modelling of the potential reconstruction of Gaza.

Israel has announced a tactical pause in military activity in several parts of Gaza to allow humanitarian aid in following pressure from the international community to STOP the GENOCIDE and avoid mass starvation.
The World Health Organization has warned malnutrition has reached alarming levels in Gaza with rates on a dangerous trajectory, as aid airdrops resumed in the Strip.
Jordan said it had worked with the United Arab Emirates and dropped 25 tonnes of aid into Gaza on Sunday after Israel began what it called a tactical pause in fighting.
Israel had said it would halt military operations for 10 hours a day in parts of Gaza and allow aid corridors for UN convoys, to refute the false claim of intentional starvation. Hamas accused it of whitewashing its image.
UN aid chief Tom Fletcher confirmed on Sunday that some movement restrictions appeared to have been eased by Israel.
In a statement, reported by the Reuters news agency, Fletcher said that initial reports indicated that more than 100 truckloads of aid were collected from crossings to be transported into Gaza. This is progress, he said, but vast amounts of aid are needed to stave off famine and a catastrophic health crisis.
Meanwhile, medics reported nine killed and 54 injured by Israeli fire near an aid convoy route in central Gaza. An airstrike also hit a residential block an hour AFTER a pause came into effect on Saturday.
Local sources told the BBC that nine people were shot in the Netzarim Corridor along Salah al Din Street in central Gaza, where scores of civilians had gathered in anticipation of UN aid convoys.

The IDF LIED and said its troops fired warning shots at a gathering of suspects approaching them. It said it was not aware of any casualties.
Meanwhile, BBC Verify geolocated an airstrike at Midhat Al Wahidy Street in Al Rimal district of western Gaza City which Israel had designated an hour earlier as an area where operations would cease.
The verification was based on witness reports and two geolocated videos published on Sunday. The IDF said it was not aware of a strike upon checking the coordinates.

Donald Trump told Israel to allow every ounce of food into Gaza as he acknowledged for the first time that there is real starvation in the region.
During a visit to Britain, the US president contradicted Benjamin Netanyahu after the Israeli prime minister claimed it was a bold faced lie to say Israel was causing hunger in Gaza.
Trump is under increasing pressure to intervene in the humanitarian crisis, with dozens of Palestinians having died of hunger in recent weeks in a crisis attributed by the UN and other humanitarian organisations to Israels blockade of almost ALL AID into the territory.
In meetings with Keir Starmer including a rambling 70 minute press conference at Trumps Turnberry golf resort in Scotland the president also said he was losing patience with Vladimir Putin over the war in Ukraine and vowed to impose sanctions on Russias trading partners within 10 /12 days if there was no ceasefire.
He heaped praise on Starmer, but in a domestic intervention that will not have been appreciated by the British prime minister, Trump urged him to cut taxes and tackle illegal immigration to win the next election and knock out nutty FARAGE

A prominent Al Jazeera journalist who had previously been threatened by Israel has been killed along with four colleagues in an Israeli airstrike.
Anas al-Sharif, who was one of Al Jazeeras most recognisable faces in Gaza, was killed while inside a tent for journalists outside al Shifa hospital in Gaza City on Sunday night. His funeral was held on Monday morning.
Seven people in total were killed in the attack, including al Sharif, Al Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Qreiqeh and camera operators Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal and Moamen Aliwa, according to the Qatar based broadcaster.
The Israel Defense Force admitted the strike, claiming the reporter had served as the head of a terrorist cell in the Hamas terrorist organisation and was responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF forces

News that Blair is being considered as a partner on the rebuilding plan shocked Emma Vigeland and Brendan James, host of The Blowback Show. They discussed the plans on a new episode of The Majority Report on Sunday.

The Washington Post reported on Sunday that at least part of the Gaza rebuilding plan involves the U.S. administering the state for a decade.

WASHINGTON The Trump administration has told Congress it plans to sell nearly $6 billion in weapons to Israel, a fresh surge of support for the U.S. ally as it faces increasing isolation over its war in Gaza.
It includes a $3.8 billion sale for 30 AH 64 Apache helicopters, nearly doubling Israels current stocks, and a $1.9 billion sale for 3,200 infantry assault vehicles for Israeli army, according to a U.S. official and another person familiar with the proposal who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss plans that have not been made public.
The huge sales come as U.S. plans to broker an end to the nearly two year war between Israel and Hamas have stalled and after Israels strike on Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar, drew widespread condemnation among U.S. allies in the Middle East.

Tony Blairs think tank has been SECRETLY working on a plan to end the war since it began in October 2023, hewants to run Gaza once the war between Israel and Hamas is over.
The former prime minister has spearheaded a plan to end the war through his think tank, the Tony Blair Institute (TBI).
The Telegraph understands that Sir Tony 72, offered to head an interim government in Gaza on the proviso that power eventually would be handed over to the Palestinian Authority, which controlled the Gaza Strip until 2006.
He has the support of several powerful figures, including Jared Kushner, Donald Trumps son in law and a former Middle East adviser, and Steve Witkoff, the US presidents special envoy.
In a meeting with the US president at the White House on Aug 27, Mr Kushner and Mr Witkoff argued that the former Labour leader could run a temporary administration in Gaza.
Sources told The Economist that Sir Tony was willing to sacrifice his time to end the war and help run Gaza.
Mr Trump backed that plan before presenting the idea to the leaders of Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia and five Arab nations at the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week.

Mr Trump said Thursday night that he would not allow Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, to annex the West Bank.

He has long bragged about his close relationship with Mr Netanyahu, but has faced pressure from Arab leaders, who have publicly expressed concerns about the Israeli military acting to annex more territory.

Russias top diplomat on Monday expressed support for the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said we very much hope that everything that has been agreed upon will be fulfilled.
At the same time, he noted the importance to develop a plan for creating a Palestinian state in the future. Lavrov added that Moscow will be ready to join efforts to support any agreements if those involved ask for its assistance.
It was not immediately clear when the remaining 24 bodies would be sent back to Israel. The families of the deceased captives have demanded the bodies be returned as part of the current ceasefire deal.
After a lengthy speech to Israel?s parliament, Trump boarded Air Force One for a flight to Egypt, where he will attend a summit with many world leaders on Gaza.
The Israeli prime minister was not happy about the summit, but declined because it was too close to the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah.
