Investigators later added that they found what appeared to be improvised explosives at the crash site that did not detonate. Police said the suspect was killed in the shootout, and said the pickup truck used in the attack was registered to a 42-year-old man from Houston. It was reported Wednesday that the suspect lived in New Orleans, and Fox News reported the truck used in the attack was a rental, and had crossed the US-Mexico border on November 16 and was not being driven by the suspect at the time. DUH -Trump said in a statement that an illegal migrant is to blame for the attack, as he branded the incident a pure act of evil. It was later reported that Jabbar was a US citizen. Witnesses claim the suspect was wearing full body armour and armed with an assault rifle, and officials said he was trying to run over as many people as he possibly could. Ambulances have transported the wounded to five area hospitals, the city added, and the FBI have taken over the ongoing investigation.
