A woman who was just days from giving birth has tragically been found dead in a woodland, and police are now on the hunt for her missing baby.
Rebecca Park was last seen leaving her mums house on the night of 4 November, when she was 38 weeks pregnant. Witnesses say the 22 year old was last spotted getting into the passenger side of a dark coloured vehicle outside the property. Then, complete silence.
Her phone was then found abandoned near her mothers home. Weeks later, Rebeccas body was found nearly 50 miles away from where she was last seen. Heartbreakingly, an autopsy revealed that her baby was not present when she was discovered. Police say they are still searching for the infant.
Rebeccas fianc?, Richard Lee Falor, and her 21 year old sister, Kimberly Park, have since been arrested but not charged in connection with the mums death. Falor, a 43 year old convicted sex offender, was detained the same night Rebeccas body was discovered.
He was charged with two drug related crimes and is facing the prospect of life in prison due to his track record as a habitual offender. He remains in jail and is currently held on a $1,000,000 cash bond after being deemed a community and flight risk, Mirror US reports.
When his fianc?e first disappeared without a trace from a town called Boon Township in Michigan roughly 100 miles north of Grand Rapids he spoke to the media. Falor claimed Becca told her mom, Hold on. I got somebody to pick me up. This is just something I got to do. Im sorry, Falor said. A black sedan pulled up, and she got in. Nobodys heard from her since.
Detailing their relationship, he continued Me and her have been together for a little over two years, and even when shes not around me, shes always in contact with me. Me, her mom and sister, we've all been calling the hospitals. I just want to know that shes safe. Our son is safe
Rebeccas younger sister Kimberly was also detained, charged with lying to a police officer during a violent crime investigation, tampering with evidence in a criminal case and filing a false report of a felony. She is being held on a $750,000 cash bond at Wexford County Jail. Kimberly and Falor were not charged in connection with Rebeccas death

Wexford County Sheriffs Office are reportedly working alongside the Cadillac Police Department, the FBI, the Michigan State Police, the Missaukee County Sheriffs Office, and other law enforcement agencies
