Police are hunting down a man on an electric scooter after multiple people were killed. Terrified members of the public reported loud bangs at the scene.

A number of people have been killed in a horror mass shooting that broke out in a city in Sweden with police hunting down a man that fled on an electric scooter.
Officers said they received multiple calls from terrified members of the public reporting loud bangs close to a barber shop and train station near Vaksala Square in Uppsala just after 5pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A major police operation has since been activated, with a helicopter circling the scene and cordons in place around Hjalmar Brantingsgatan a main street in central Uppsala near Vaksalatorget. Swedish Police confirmed three people had died whilst several remain injured, although authorities are yet to confirm an exact number of casualties.
The Swedish Transport Administration has halted trains due to the ongoing police operation, and the perpetrator is still at the centre of a widescale manhunt.
