At least twelve people have been injured in a terrifying mass shooting in Toronto - with three male suspects still at large.

Twelve people suffered gunshot wounds during the attack, but none of the victim's injuries were life threatening, police said. Toronto Police earlier said they were looking for just one suspect who was wearing a black balaclava and managed to flee the scene in a silver car.

The shooting took place at the Piper Arms pub in Scarborough, a district of Toronto, on Friday night at around 10.39pm local time. Video footage shared via Canadas CTV showed heavily armed police officers scouring the area while first responders wheeled a patient on a stretcher into an ambulance. The victims of the attack are aged between their 20s and mid-50s, police said.
