Boy in a Box Dad Tim Ferriter Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison
At sentencing on Thursday, a Florida man convicted of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment, and child neglect for locking his adopted son in an 8X8 box in the family garage was sentenced to 60 months in prison.

Tracy Ferriter Trial Date Set for 12 July
Tracy Ferriter, the Florida mom accused of aggravated child abuse for locking her adopted son in a box, appeared in court today.
TracyFerriter is accused of child abuse after allegedly locking her adopted teenage son in an 8x8 enclosure in her garage.
Her husband, TimFerriter, was previously sentenced to five years in prison for charges of child abuse, child neglect, and false imprisonment.
The judge sentenced Ferriter to five years in prison and five years probation. The first two years of probation, he will not be allowed to have any contact with the older three children, unless the children desire it.
Ferriter was also ordered to complete an anger management class, a parenting course and get a mental evaluation.
