Marc Dutroux is a monster, plain and simple. What he did is incomprehensible.

He kidnapped children and locked them in a dungeon. He raped and tortured them, then he killed them.
Some were left to starve to death, others were buried alive. Only two survived.
Now Dutroux has finally been found guilty and sentenced to life for his crimes,
But that still doesn't answer these questions:
Why was the police investigation such a debacle and how many more people - important people - were involved in this evil plot?
