Movies UK Anger at Elon Musk -Get An Arrest Warrant Says Ex-Twitter Boss

TWEETIE Musk is Inciting TERROR in UK on X Posts .. Starmer Clashes With Musk Over UK Riot Remarks

'Stick With US and TRUMP and Keep Your Nose OUT of UKs' Business'

Elon Musk goads Keir Starmer in another barrage of tweets comparing Britain to the Soviet Union, joking about the death penalty and calling him #TwoTierKeir - after minister called his civil war claims 'deplorable'

MailOnline 7 AUG 2024

Violence erupted again in Belfast last night amid ongoing rioting around the UK

Prime Minister says no justification for billionaires’ claim that Britain is heading for ‘civil war’

Elon Musk and Sir Keir Starmer have clashed after the tech boss claimed that Britain was heading for civil war.

The billionaire owner of X, formerly Twitter, provoked a row with Downing Street over the riots that have engulfed UK cities amid accusations that social media is fuelling the unrest.

In a comment on his social media site about the violence, CREEPY Musk said “civil war is inevitable” – a remark that was explicitly rejected by the Prime Minister’s official spokesman, who said there was “no justification” for it.

Musk then replied to a post on X by Sir Keir, questioning the Prime Minister’s decision to provide extra protection for mosques.

Elon Musk Goads Sir Keir Starmer in ANOTHER Barrage of Tweets

Musk today goaded Sir Keir Starmer again by accusing the PM of presiding over 'one-sided' policing of race riots breaking out across the UK - even using the hashtag 'TwoTierKeir' in a tweet to 196million people.

The billionaire has hit back repeatedly at the Labour leader in a row over his claim that Britain is on the brink of an 'inevitable' civil war because of migration.

Musk also compared the UK to the Soviet Union because of arrests over what people have been saying on Facebook as riots break out across the UK.

He even shared a Family Guy meme and joked that Britain might bring back the death penalty for social media posts that offend politicians. Posting an image of Peter Griffin in the electric chair he said: 'In 2030 for making a Facebook comment that the UK government didn’t like'.

He also retweeted a meme showing armed police confronting a woman over her social media messages, adding: 'Sounds like that is the UK today'.

This morning a Labour minister called out Elon Musk's 'deplorable' claim that civil war in the UK is around the corner, as he was accused of stoking tensions in tinderbox Britain.

Hitting back this afternoon the billionaire posted a video of a gang in balaclavas waving Palestine flags storming The Clumsy Swan in Birmingham, where windows were smashed and drinkers were attacked last night.

Musk tweeted footage of the pub attack and tagged the Prime Minister with the caption: 'Why aren’t all communities protected in Britain, Keir Starmer?' He also pinned it to his profile so it is the first thing his 193million followers see when on his page.

Minutes earlier the Tesla boss also shared a video of a Exeter man believed to be named Thomas Dunne being arrested recently after a complaint made about his comments on social media. Musk shared it to launch another attack on the UK and said: 'Arrested for making comments on Facebook! Is this Britain or the Soviet Union?'

Downing Street rebuked Elon Musk, the owner of X, for using his platform to claim that 'civil war is inevitable' - so the billionaire has hit back again..

NUTTY Elon Musk Shares MORE FAKE News -England Rioters Being Sent to Falklands

X owner deletes his OWN post sharing faked Telegraph article that claimed convicted rioters would be sent to detention camps

The Guardian 9 AUG 2024

Elon Musk shared a fake Telegraph article claiming Keir Starmer was considering sending far-right rioters to “emergency detainment camps” in the Falklands.

Musk deleted his post after about 30 minutes but a screenshot captured by Politics.co.uk suggests it had garnered nearly two million views before it was deleted.

In it, Musk shared the image posted by the co-leader of the far-right group Britain First, Ashlea Simon, which she captioned with, “we’re all being deported to the Falklands”.

The fake piece, purportedly written by a senior news reporter for the Telegraph and mocked up in the newspaper’s style, said camps in the Falklands “would be used to detain prisoners from the ongoing riots as the British prison system is already at capacity”.

The Telegraph said on Thursday it had never published the article in question. In a statement, a spokesperson for the Telegraph Media Group said: “This is a fabricated headline for an article that does not exist. We notified relevant platforms and requested that the post be taken down.”

In a post on X, the newspaper said it was “aware of an image circulating on X which purports to be a Telegraph article about ‘emergency detainment camps’. No such article has ever been published by the Telegraph.”

Musk has not apologised for sharing the fake report, but has continued to share material criticising the UK government and law enforcement authorities’ responses to the riots.

The Guardian contacted X for comment but received an auto-response saying: “Busy now, please check back later.”

On Thursday, Musk shared a Sky News interview in which Stephen Parkinson, the director of public prosecutions in England and Wales, said police officers were scouring social media for material inciting racial hatred. “This is actually happening,” Musk said. In a separate post referring to the same clip, Musk called Parkinson “The Woke Stasi”.

UK Anger at Elon Musk - Elon Musk Should Face Arrest If He Incited UK Rioters, Says Ex-Twitter Chief

Get An Arrest Warrant Says Ex-Twitter Boss

As an ex-Twitter boss, I have a way to grab Elon Musk’s attention. If he keeps stirring unrest, get an arrest warrant

The Guardian 13 AUG 2024

Bruce Daisley calls for ‘beefed-up’ online safety laws and compares tech billionaires to unaccountable oligarchs

Elon Musk should face “personal sanctions” and even the threat of an “arrest warrant” if found to be stirring up public disorder on his social media platform, a former Twitter executive has said.

It cannot be right that the billionaire owner of X, and other tech executives, be allowed to sow discord without personal risks, Bruce Daisley, formerly Twitter’s vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, writes in the Guardian.

He said the prime minister, Keir Starmer, should “beef up” online safety laws and reflect on whether the media regulator, Ofcom, “is fit to deal with the blurringly fast actions of the likes of Musk”.

“In my experience, that threat of personal sanction is much more effective on executives than the risk of corporate fines,” Daisley writes, arguing such sanctions could impact the jet-setting lifestyles of tech billionaires.

The UK government has called on social media platforms to act responsibly after violent unrest swept through the UK following the fatal stabbing of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed holiday dance class in Southport last month.

The prime minister has blamed social media companies for allowing the spread of false claims that the attacker was an asylum seeker and police are increasingly going after those suspected of using online posts to incite violence.
In one post, Musk wrote: “civil war is inevitable” in the UK, language that the justice minister, Heidi Alexander, described as “unacceptable”.

Musk has called Starmer “two-tier Keir” and a “hypocrite” over his approach to policing. Musk also shared a false post suggesting Starmer was planning to set up “detainment camps” in the Falkland Islands, a post he later deleted.

Daisley, who worked at Twitter, now X, from 2012-2020, describes Musk as someone who “has taken on the aura of a teenager on the bus with no headphones, creating lots of noise”

“We’ve hesitated from labelling tech billionaires as oligarchs because the likes of Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey wielded their political power gently. Asking oligarchs to be accountable for what their platforms permit is straightforward and entirely possible.”

Elon Musk's comments on UK riots are ‘beyond irresponsible’
