If you use it to test links and download, it will show offline links when they are not.

I dont live in the US so it shoudn't have happened to me, but it did, when I was testing some threads for dead links

JDownload's IP must be in the US.. YIKES!, That will BIG problems for you members with US IPs, reporting dead Links when they are not

USE PROXY IPs, there is a thread in this section on that to help you.

ul.to and others are now banning US IPs

turbobit.net (Russia) now blocking all U.S. IPs
It looks good, but reported as slow.

Extabit.com - Ive been told is also blocking US IPs, Im waiting for some of you to confirm this

JD will use the host link checker (usually).
If there's an issue with the hosts link checker then JD will have the same issue.

Also, it appears RS is/was blocking free downloaders (specifically JD users).

JD program uses your own IP to connect to filehost links to download.......and it uses host linkcheckers to check links.

Any issues (afaik) will be related to IP country blocks (if applicable to you), filehost issues and link checkers of filehosts.

It was showing 100% offline for some of the new Filehosts the uploaders are using, they were not in the US. One example was all the ul.to links, members posted dead links and the uploaders complained so I checked them again on JD and they showed off line to me too, then when I checked them on WG Links they showed on line.

It's marked solved, so I assume by that it means after a plugin update.
But I also noticed this quote:

Which I think is from a browser check.
So WG may report a link as being good, but you can't download it.
Same thing happens with JD sometimes.....even if your plugins are ok.
