21 crew members remain stranded on a cargo ship in Sydney – after two failed rescue attempts in extreme weather.

New South Wales Port Authority chief executive Philip Holliday said the vessel lost power in a voyage to Melbourne on Sunday.

The plan is for the ship to be towed into Port Botany today after being held in place by anchors and sailing vessels overnight.
