President Joe Biden Diagnosed With Aggressive Form of Prostate Cancer That Has Spread to His Bones

The shock news comes after the former President and bitter Donald Trump rival was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms

Mr Bidens office revealed in a statement today that the former Commander in Chief was seen for a prostate nodule last week after experiencing urinary symptoms.

Doctors then diagnosed the 82 year old with the Grade 5 advanced cancer indicating it was abnormal and likely to grow and spread quickly, finding it has metastasised to his bones.


But the statement added that the cancer also appears to be hormone sensitive, indicating an avenue for effective management and that he and his family are reviewing treatment options

The note from his office read: Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.

On Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 Grade Group 5 with metastasis to the bone. While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone sensitive which allows for effective management.

The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians. Mr Biden served only a single term in the White House from 2020 to 2024, when he handed the campaign reins to Vice President Kamala Harris following growing concerns about his age, health and ability to fight an election against Donald Trump.

A senior official in Donald Trumps administration has bizarrely claimed Joe Bidens wife could be charged with elder abuse for covering up his cancer diagnosis.


Former US President Biden revealed this week he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, with the disease confirmed to have spread to his bones.

While the news has prompted what has largely been a supportive response from across the political divide, there have also been a number of right wing influencers and political figures who have claimed the cancer had been diagnosed while he was still in the the White House and kept secret.

Leo Terrell, who works in the Department of Justices civil rights division as a senior counsel, took to X to level the accusations of a cover up at former First Lady Jill Biden. Sharing a picture of Jill sat behind a desk on Air Force One, he wrote: Elder Abuse Criminal charges


Trump appeared to join the chorus of doubters in new comments last night and also mistakenly claimed Biden has stage 9 cancer, which does not exist.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, he said: Im surprised the public wasnt notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine, thats a long time.

Trump also claimed that there are things going on that the public wasnt informed of surrounding Bidens diagnosis, which he said was very dangerous.
