Detectives have begun searching a wasteland in a bid to find missing eight-year-old Kyran Durnin, who officers say may have died two years ago.

The youngster was reported missing in August from his home in County Louth, Ireland, along with his mum 24-year-old Dayla. It's now been claimed she has been located safe and well in the UK - but her son has still not been found.
Police are now searching a wasteland in Drogheda - where the torso of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods was located after he was savagely murdered. It is one of three locations expected to be searched this week for any evidence of the missing school boy.
