It is believed she may have been there for two days A 50 year old woman, found chained to a tree in a dense forest in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district, was carrying a photocopy of a US passport among her possessions. Identified as Lalita Kayi, the woman also had an Aadhaar card indicating an address in Tamil Nadu. However, her passport is no longer valid, leading authorities to verify these documents to confirm her nationality.
