Chinese Children Hooked Up to IV Drips, FORCED to Do Homework
Children in China FORCED to Do Homework While Hooked Up to IV Drips
Hospitals Are Not Overwhelmed by 'Mystery' Pneumonia, China Says BBC 27 NOV 2023 No evidence “unusual or novel” pathogens caused child pneumonia rise, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention tells WHO The World Health Organization has issued an “official request” for China to share more information about an “undiagnosed” respiratory illness that is reportedly spreading among children in the country. Hospitals in several cities, including Beijing, have been overwhelmed by an influx of children sick with pneumonia, according to a health notification report issued on Tuesday by ProMed, a public surveillance system which monitors global disease outbreaks. Doctors and health agencies in China believe RSV, flu and mycoplasma pneumoniae, a common bacterial disease also known as “walking pneumonia,” are responsible for the surge, which began in mid-October. These pathogens, they say, are bouncing back in Chinas’ first post-lockdown winter. |
