A murderer has been jailed for 34 years in England's first televised sentencing of a woman today.
Jemma Mitchell, from Brent, north-west London, was earlier this week found guilty of murdering her friend Mee Kuen Chong.
She dumped her headless body more than 200 miles away in order to inherit hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The 67-year-old's remains were found in woodland in Salcombe, Devon, on June 27 last year.
Mitchell murdered Ms Chong after she withdrew her offer to help the killer with repairs to her dilapidated £4 million home in Willesden, north-west London.
During her sentencing today, Judge Richard Marks KC said: "You and your mother paid a total of £230,000 to two builders, one of whom evidently cheated you and you were thereby exhausted of a large part of your resources.
