Saturday Night Live (SNL) has recreated the White House clash between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in a sketch featuring Mike Myers, the Canadian actor and comedian.
The US DICTATOR president and his Ukrainian counterpart met in the Oval Office on Friday in a fiery meeting that saw Mr Zelensky leave without the planned minerals deal being signed.
Myers, the star of Waynes World and Austin Powers, made a cameo on the US comedy show Elon Musk, the billionaire and close Trump ally who now runs the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge).
The sketch was broadcast as protests spread around the World against Musk, with demonstrators gathering outside Tesla dealerships.
It begins with a voiceover that says: Yesterday, president Trump hosted Ukrainian president Zelensky at the White House, and it went really, really well. The world is now a safer place.
James Austin Johnsons Trump welcomes Zelensky, played by Mikey Day, to this incredible TRAP before introducing JD Vance, the US vice-president, played by Bowen Yang, and Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, played by Marcello Hernandez.
Mr Vance tells the Ukrainian president: You havent said thank you to us once the past 15 seconds I've been yelling at you.
He then asked him to offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country.
Protesters Target Tesla Stores Worldwide
Demonstrators gathered in New York, Los Angeles and Boston, and outside Tesla stores across the US on Saturday night to protest against Mr Musk, the electric vehicle companys owner.
The protests were ostensibly aimed at the billionaires efforts to slash government spending, but there were also some pro-Ukraine demonstrators among the crowds.
Hundreds of people protested outside a New York City Tesla dealership, holding signs reading Burn a Tesla: Save Democracy and No Dictators in the USA. Nine people were arrested.
Musk, the worlds richest person, is leading an unprecedented push to shrink the federal government that has resulted in the firing of thousands of employees and the termination of hundreds of aid contracts and federal leases.
In some cases, federal agencies have been forced to try to hire back key workers who had been fired, including some responsible for US nuclear weapons, scientists trying to fight a worsening outbreak of bird flu, and officials responsible for supplying electricity.
Pro-Ukraine Demo in New York
At least 100,000 of the USs 2.3 million federal employees have agreed to buyouts or have been fired since Mr Trump took office on January 20.
Hundreds of pro-Ukraine protesters also gathered in Times Square in New York. In Los Angeles, demonstrators rallied outside a facility operated by Space X, another company owned by Musk.
Meanwhile, dozens of climate-change protesters occupied a Tesla showroom in Londons Westfield shopping centre on Saturday.
Members of Climate Resistance claimed Musk has built his empire through ruthless exploitation, union-busting, and dangerous working conditions
Around 20 protesters stormed into the shop and sat on the ground as they chanted hey hey, ho ho, Elon Musk has got to go for 25 minutes.
