House Goes on Sale for Just £78,000 - But You'll Have to Really, Really Love Beer

A two bedroom, two bathroom home has gone on sale for just £78,000 in the sunny state of Florida - and real estate agent Kristen Adams-Kearney says she was blown away by what she found inside

This is the house Budweiser built -- literally.

From the outside, a home on sale for just £78,000 looks like any normal property.

It sits behind a pristine lawn and has a stone staircase leading up to a glass entrance on a quiet residential street, offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

But it's not until you step through the front door that it becomes clear the flat in Florida boasts a truly unique interior after its previous owner decorated every single available wall and ceiling with Budweiser beer cans.

The only gaps existing between the cans have been left for access to light switches and wall fixtures, with even the inside of the wardrobe and kitchen splashback being given the Budweiser treatment - leaving the bathrooms as the only space left untouched.

"He even went as far as to create crown molding and took attention to detail around outlets and A.C. vents."

Unsurprisingly, the listing caught the attention of Budweiser, which tweeted Kristen asking to "let them know who buys the house so we can stock their fridge with beer (as long as they don’t renovate)".

The price was lowered to just $100,000 this month and has since been the subject of a number of offers. It is now under contract but the potential new owners hadn't yet visited the home, and are due to inspect it before finalising the deal.

The South Florida owner spent years lining the walls of his place with empty Budweiser, creating his own "beer haven." And now it gets to be passed off to a new owner.

While the listing doesn't share how many cans fill the walls of the 815 square-foot Lake Worth condo, let's just say...it's a lot.

In a photo of the dining room alone, you can see nearly 530 cans spanning a portion of one wall. The only place free of Budweiser cans is the condo's bathrooms, according to a release.

It's an effort worth raising a glass to, plus all that work seemingly paid off in more way than one for both the seller and the new owner.
