Beatles records released this week include the album "The Beatles Story" on Capitol and the single "I Feel Fine" backed with "She's a Woman." (1964)

Elvis Presley's 22nd film, "Spinout," premieres in Los Angeles. The movie is another box-office success and critical disaster for Elvis. (1966)

Rolling Stone quotes San Francisco's veteran disco jockey Tom Donahue: "Top Forty radio," as we know it today and have known it for the last ten years, is dead, and its rotting corpse is stinking up the airwaves." (1967)
