Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne takes to the stage one last time with his Black Sabbath bandmates
The heavy metal star, who has Parkinsons disease, will play a short set before headlining with the original members of the band. Its their first time back on stage together in 20 years.
Ozzy Osbourne closed out his final ever live performance with some emotional words at Birminghams Villa Park Stadium on Saturday night.
The rocker, 76, reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for their first performance in their original line up since 2005 and their final ever show as a band.
Ozzy has spoken openly about his health in recent years after undergoing seven surgeries in the past five years, including a fourth spinal operation in 2023.
Ozzy, who has also been battling Parkinsons disease since 2003, plans to keep recording music but said farewell to live performing as 42,000 loyal fans watched on.
And the heavy metal singer had some poignant words for Villa Park as he brought the show to an emotional close in his hometown, Birmingham where Black Sabbath formed some 56 years ago.

In a statement, his family said tonight...It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.
The rocker was able to bid an emotional farewell to his fans on stage this month as he reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time since 2005.
You've no idea how I feel thank you from the bottom of my heart, Osbourne told the crowd in his final speech.
The music legend vowed, however, that it would be his final ever performance due to his health, having opened up about his battle with Parkinsons in 2020.
The star was a titan of music who somehow survived controversies that would end the careers of many others, and weathered health problems that would leave most of us on our backs.
Whether it was biting the head off both a bat and a dove, snorting a line of ants or urinating on a US war memorial while wearing one of his wife Sharons dresses, Osbourne was defined by his antics both on and off stage.
The singer, who sold more than 100 million records, will forever be synonymous with the heavy metal band he formed in his home city of Birmingham in 1969.

He was also injured in a quad bike crash at his UK home in 2003, an episode that had a serious impact on his fragile health. Yet there was also redemption for the troubled singer, who relaunched himself as a reality tv star in The Osbournes in the early 2000s, after getting clean from drink and drugs with the help of Sharon.

An air ambulance was called to Ozzy Osbournes multi million pound country home as paramedics battled to save his life
The Thames Valley air ambulance landed in a field close to Welders House, the singers Grade II listed mansion on Tuesday morning at around 10.30am.
Its believed that calls from Welders House had led call handlers to believe that the Black Sabbath singers life was in the balance.
A chopper was dispatched from Thames Valley ambulance base at RAF Benson in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, some 27 miles from the mansion which is located close to the village of Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.
The crew were airborne for around 15 minutes before landing in the grounds of the mansion and were then with Ozzy for around two hours, trying but failing to save his life, its understood.
News of the helicopter drama is the first insight into the finer details of the singers death.

My introduction to Sabbath was my moms band, who used to cover War Pigs a pretty faithful rendition. But Ozzy felt more like my discovery, in 1981 or so. I was six years old, a neighbour had Blizzard of Ozz and I would just would stare at that album cover. I fell in love. The Randy Rhoads guitar solos, and then you would see footage of Ozzy and he looked as if he was having the time of his life up there.
For a kid, he almost seemed like a cartoon character the joy he was experiencing was infectious, but also the music was visceral. He became my favourite musician. I had a boombox next to my bed with the Tribute live album on at a low volume so nobody in the house would wake up, and Id go to sleep to Ozzy every night.
Theres something about his vocal phrasing, a timbre thats so perfectly matched with the music thats playing underneath. He had the ability to emote and tell a story and draw you in, and the melodies he chose were really special. I dont think he got enough credit as a singer to the layperson he was this madman, and to them, the magic lay there and not in his abilities.
But the way he sang was so unique and powerful. Its so ingrained in my mind that when I listen back to stuff that Ive done in Mastodon, when I sing, I can tell that its so heavily influenced by him. I like big, heavy riffs with an almost evil sounding, dark, high pitched vocal tonality thats Ozzy to a T.
I met him at Ozzfest in 2005 I had got a Randy Rhoads drum kit made, and he, Sharon and Zakk Wylde came over in a golf cart to look at it. But I usually kept my distance just because Im such a huge fan and didnt want to get in the way.
Then Mastodon got to play Back to the Beginning, Ozzy and Black Sabbaths farewell concert on 5 July. Some icons of music, they didnt know when it was their last show, take Prince, for instance. And so it was really, really special for them to perform a definitive final show. Mastodon were on first and I was unsure if it was going to be just a couple of people in the crowd when we played.
But we were driving to the stadium, passing all the pubs, and they were filled with people and you could hear Sabbath blasting out of them at 9.30am. And then we got there and all the bands, from Metallica to Slayer to Anthrax, are at the side of the stage, they want to see us do our thing.
It was this really palpable energy, this big feeling of love for Black Sabbath, to honour them the proper way
But then you knew that the big moment was looming Ozzys gonna play. This is the last time you're gonna hear Crazy Train. -Dailor begins crying. Mr Crowley, the beginning, the organ, it was so powerful. Everybody was crying.
It was just like, oh my God, this is the last time we're going to see this. Then Tonys guitar, Geezers bass he was ripping, it was insane and Bills drums. Those four super special guys doing their thing. The gravity of the moment hit everybody at the same time, that this is it. It was a beautiful moment to be in.
Sabbath were so influential because they were so riff centric, and that just really didnt exist before. You had some bands that were close to it but nobody really took that leap into the sound of horror. Like with Led Zeppelin, it got kind of dark, with Deep Purple, there were some moments.
Something was swirling around in the air but Black Sabbath realised it.
They knew that could be a real wealth of inspiration, to really tap into this darkness that exists out there and inside of everyone, but also in a playful way

The Black Sabbath frontman, famously known as the Prince of Darkness, died on Tuesday at the age of 76 just weeks after performing his final show with the band.
Ozzy was reportedly warned by insurers that they wouldnt cover the concert if he insisted on standing to bid farewell to his devoted fans But Sharon, determined to make his dream a reality, is said to have fought a behind the scenes battle with insurance agents..
To resolve the issue, she is said to have arranged for Ozzy to be seated in a throne throughout the performance.
This allowed him to deliver five solo tracks and four Black Sabbath classics despite his health struggles.
It really speaks so much to Sharons drive and focus to get it all pulled off, because of the health issues. She was a miracle worker.
Ozzy took to the stage for his farewell concert at Villa Park Stadium in his native Birmingham less than three weeks before his death.

The hearse carryingthe singers coffin adorned with purple flowers spelling out Ozzy passed the stars childhood home in Lodge Road, Aston, at about 12.45pm on its route into Birmingham city centre.
Flowers were placed outside the terraced property, close to Villa Park, following the singers death, while the owners of the house put up a picture of Osbourne in the front bay window.

The Jaguar hearse and six Mercedes funeral cars, accompanied by police motorcycle riders and a police car, drove slowly along the street watched by a handful of fans and the current owner of the house.
Fans have left heartfelt messages and floral tributes around the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street in recent days to honour the heavy metal star who was born in the Aston area of Birmingham.
Members of the public have also signed a book of condolences, opened by Birmingham Museum And Art Gallery, which is currently holding an exhibition titled Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025) Working Class Hero.
While organising the procession, Birmingham City Council collaborated with the Osbourne family, who funded all of the associated costs.
The heavy metal icon, who died last week aged 76, was commemorated in a parade through the city centre with friends and family including his wife Sharon attending and getting out of the cortege at Black Sabbath Bridge.
Ozzy had made known Kelly is his favourite child in the past, previously telling Rolling Stone they were like two peas in a pod as he gushed over their bond.
As she mourns the devastating loss of her father and best friend, mother of one Kelly, 40, covered her tears with the glasses which were a familiar look for Ozzy.
She and siblings Jack and Aimee laid floral tributes at the site while supporting Sharon and they also shared peace signs showing gratitude to the crowds, while accompanied by Ozzys son Louis
And Jack and Kelly were seen sharing an emotional embrace at the Black Sabbath Bridge site that has been wreathed in floral tributes over the past week.
Todays funeral cortege was led along Broad Street by a live brass band, Bostin Brass, who were performing versions of Black Sabbath songs such as Iron Man, as thousands of devotees lined the streets.
Louis, Ozzys son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, wore a purple tie with skull and crossbones patterns.
Each family member carried a pink flower wrapped in black paper that they laid on top of the many other floral tributes that sat next to a poster of the star that said Birmingham will always love you.
Huge crowds had begun gathering along the route hours in advance of the 1pm start, to pay their respects towards the singer whose songs included Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Thousands of people were pictured taking their places not only on Black Sabbath Bridge but along the city centre route, through which his cortege travelled towards the Black Sabbath Bridge bench.

Jack launched a furious rant at Roger Waters on Tuesday following comments he made about late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne
Jack, 39, took to social media to publicly shame the English singer and songwriter following his remarks about Ozzy in an interview following his death on July 22, aged 76.
Roger was asked about the Black Sabbath star when he admitted he wasnt a fan of the rocker or any of his bands material.
