The Taken star, 72, who recently said he's retiring from action movies, stars alongside the Baywatch icon, 57, in the upcoming reboot - detailed how the pair had hit it off during filming.

Neeson and Richardson married in 1994 and welcomed sons, Miche?l, 29, and Daniel, 28; pictured in 2008

He told People: With Pamela, first off, Im madly in love with her. Shes just terrific to work with. I cant compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. Shes funny and so easy to work with. Shes going to be terrific in the film.

Anderson responded in kind calling 'humble' Neeson the 'perfect gentleman. He brings out the best in you with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.

'He sincerely looked after me wrapped his coat around me when I was cold.' and added she made him bread and cookies and left them for him in his dressing room.'

The new movie will be based off the popular Naked Gun film franchise and television series Police Squad that starred the late great Leslie Nielsen (pictured in 1988)
