It's a routine voyage for four people from Perth to the Sunshine Coast on a supposedly ‘unsinkable’ steel-hulled yacht - the Patanela.
Then in the early hours of 8th of November 1988 the Patanela vanished without trace 10 miles east of Botany Bay after its skipper sent three mysterious radio calls.
Under Investigation examines all the possible scenarios, and hears from an eyewitness speaking out for the first time in thirty years as it re-opens this baffling maritime mystery.
