One Day I Just Stopped


I stopped explaining myself to people who didn't really care to understand.

I stopped trying to tell my side of the story because I realised it didn't really matter what they believed.

I stopped being a revolving door for others to come and go as they please.

I stopped putting in all the effort, where none was returned.

I stopped worrying about what others thought of me.

I stopped second guessing myself and the decisions I was making.

I stopped punishing myself for the past, it's gone.


I was so tired, so I just stopped.
