Movies Sword Attacker is Brazilian MIGRANT Who Severed Cops' Hand Before Killing Boy

Terrifying Sword Rampage Leaves Five in Hospital inc. Police Officers -1 Arrested :

Man, 36, Arrested after 'ramming car into a house before prowling streets attacking two police officers and a passer-by' in east London

MailOnline 30 APR 2024

Five people were rushed to hospital in a 'terrifying sword attack' in east London this morning.

Two police officers and three members of the public were injured after reports a car had driven into a home in Hainault, east London, shortly before 7am on Tuesday.

Horrifying footage posted on social media appears to show a sword-wielding suspect wearing a yellow hoodie as he prowled the streets and crouched beside homes.

Metropolitan Police later confirmed a 36-year-old man had been arrested. They are not looking for more suspects in relation to the ordeal and the attack 'does not appear to be terror-related', police said.

Locals told MailOnline how they woke to sounds of 'piercing screams' and a man 'covered in blood' outside their homes in the Thurlow Gardens area.

Daniel Garfinkle, who lives outside the station, said: 'I woke up at 7am to lots of shouting. There was a guy outside covered in blood, near the station and outside my home.

'Police were trying to calm down the man who carried out the stabbing. But he went towards the station. He kept shouting.'

Another local said: 'There was at least one man lying in a pool of blood. It was horrific. There were these terrible screams I woke to piercing screams, people said it was with a machete.'

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the Hainault stabbings were 'shocking', adding that 'such violence has no place on our streets'.

'My thoughts are with those who have been affected and thank you to the emergency responders I would urge people not to speculate or share footage online and provide relevant information to the police.'

Movies London; 13-Yr-Old Boy DIES-2 Officers Seriously Injured After Brutal Sword Attack

Moment Brave Female Cop Confronts Sword-Wielding Suspect 36, With Her Taser

Armed police arrive on scene and arrest him - after 'random' attack left boy 13 dead and two officers require surgery for serious injuries.

MailOnline 30 APR 2024

Police were scrambled to the scene following reports that a car had driven into a property

Dramatic moment a brave female police officer confronted a sword-wielding man after a 'random' attack which left a teenage boy dead and two of her colleagues wounded.

CCTV footage emerged showing the female cop, flanked by her male colleagues, demanding the man in a yellow hoodie puts down the weapon after her vaulted a fence into a driveway in Hainault this morning.

As officers close in on the man, the unarmed officer can be seen advancing on the man before tasering him despite the fact he was still brandishing his sword.

She then stands over him before armed colleagues move into the arrest the man, moments after they were scrambled to east London, following reports that a van had rammed into a home just before a knifeman started prowling the streets.

A 13-year-old boy who was 'on his way to school' was fatally injured while two other members of the public were also attacked, in what police believe was a 'random' incident.

The injured officers were rushed to hospital with 'serious' injuries. Two members of the public were also treated following the horror rampage that unfolded.

Police say, the suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in hospital where he is being treated for injuries he received when he crashed his van into a home.

Footage captured moments before the arrest shows the suspect, dressed in a yellow hoodie, stood on top of a garage roof before entering a resident's garden.

The terrifying scenes were recorded by a member of the public, who can be heard desperately warning people to 'lock your doors' while officers scramble to subdue the man.

The shocking attack has seen both Rishi Sunak and Kier Starmer pay tribute to the victims and King Charles has also 'saluted' the courage of officers who worked to bring the attack to a close.

Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe said police have found 'no trace of a prior incident' involving the suspect arrested following multiple stabbings in Hainault after speculation about his background, including police contact with him.

Metropolitan Police confirmed in a statement this afternoon that the 13-year-old boy died in hospital and that the two officers require surgery for serious injuries.

Movies Sword Attacker Severed Cops' Hand Before Killing Boy & Ramming Pedestrian

London Sword Attack - Attacker Rammed Pedestrian Before Killing Boy & Severing Cops' Hand

Sword 'killer' nearly chopped off female officers' arm after fleeing from being tasered by cop 12 minutes into horrific attack which left boy, 14, dead and three others with slash wounds

Schoolboy Daniel Anjorin, 14, killed in Hainault sword attack - as friend pays tribute to football-loving Arsenal supporter who made people 'smile when he walked into the room'

MailOnline 2 MAY 2024

The 14-year-old killed in the London sword attack was today pictured for the first time after being named as Daniel Anjorin - the youngest of three children from a respected churchgoing Nigerian family.

Daniel went to the £24,990-a-year Bancroft's school in Woodford Green –where Nottingham stabbing victim Grace O'Malley-Kumar, 19, was also a pupil. The flag on the school's building flew at half-mast today.

The youngster, whose mother is a science teacher, was described as a 'true scholar' with a 'positive nature and gentle character' in a statement from the school today.

It read: 'Daniel joined Bancroft's at seven-years old and quickly became a core member of our community. He was a true scholar, demonstrating commendable dedication to his academic pursuits.

'His positive nature and gentle character will leave a lasting impact on us. Losing such a young pupil is something we will always struggle to come to terms with.

'We are now doing all we can to support our entire community through this most painful situation. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Daniel's family during this incredibly difficult time.'

The sword-wielding suspect in the Hainault stabbings nearly chopped off a female officer's arm after being unsuccessfully Tasered, it emerged today.

The 36-year-old suspect had rammed his van into a house near Hainault Tube station in Iford, east London, before slashing members of the public and police officers who responded to terrified 999 calls for help.

A second officer, a man, was left with serious injuries to his arm. Two members of the public were also badly injured by the attacker and Daniel Anjorin, a 14-year-old schoolboy, tragically killed.

It's now emerged that the first officers to respond to the incident tried to use incapacitant spray and Tasers on the suspect but these had 'limited impact'.

The weapons work by firing two barbs that attach to the target's skin before releasing a current. But they do not always work and can be blocked by thick clothing.

Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo 36, charged with murder after Hainault sword rampage left 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin dead and four people including two police officers wounded

Attacker was Tasered and Arrested by brave police woman after 22 minutes on the loose. A heroic female officer who was involved in Tasering and arresting the suspect. She was not the one who was injured

Movies Sword Attacker is Brazilian MIGRANT Who Severed Cops' Hand Before Killing Boy

The 'Robin Hood' Sword Attacker is a Brazilian MIGRANT Who Severed Cops' Hand Before Killing Boy

Hainault 'sword attacker' who called himself a 'mystic' and dressed up as Robin Hood 'broke into family's home while four-year-old daughter slept and attacked father before murdering boy, 14, on his way to school', court hears

MailOnline 4 MAY 2024

Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, a Spanish and Brazilian national, appeared in court charged with murder

The Brazilian 'mystic' musician accused of murdering 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin in the Hainault sword rampage is also accused of bursting into a home where a couple were asleep with their four-year-old daughter and attacking her father, a court heard.

Marcus Arduini Monzo, 36, appeared in court today accused of Daniel's murder along with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article.

Four others were seriously injured during the 22-minute reign of terror on Tuesday, including a heroic female police officer who almost lost a hand.

David Burns, prosecuting, said Monzo allegedly drove a van at speed at Donato Iwule, who was walking on the street, before exiting the vehicle and slashing him around the neck, leaving an injury that required hospital treatment.

Monzo then forced entry into the bedroom of a couple who were sleeping with their four-year-old child and slashed the father in the neck, the prosecutor said.

Mr Burns said he was shouting: 'If you do not believe in God he will cause you harm.'

The court heard that while officers were tending to Daniel's injuries Monzo appeared from a bush and attacked a female police officer with the weapon while she was on the ground.

A second officer named Moloy Campbell was also injured, the court heard.

Flanked by three burly male dock officers and one female, Monzo, a dual Spanish-Brazilian national, wore a prison-issue grey tracksuit and held his left hand over his chest for today's entire seven-minute hearing.

When asked to confirm his full name, he responded very slowly: 'My full name? As of my recollection it is Marcus Aurielo Audini.'

Senior District Judge and Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring said: 'I am going to send your case, all seven charges, to the Central Criminal Court, you might know it as the Old Bailey.

'I don't have the power to consider bail. You will therefore be remanded in custody to appear at the Central Criminal Court on 7 May.'
