Anticipation continues to build for the July 30 Strikeforce fight between MMA legends Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson. The fight card will be held at the Sears Centre Arena just outside of Chicago in Hoffman Estates, Ill., and is sure to be one of the biggest in the organization’s history.
These two warriors have spent their entire careers defying the odds by winning championships while generally being the smaller fighter against their opponents. Each man has already set his place in MMA history, but this fight should only prove to solidify their legacies.
But with Emelianenko coming off of two losses and Henderson having recently won the Strikeforce light heavyweight championship, some fans wonder why this fight was made in the first place.
