-After One Direction Reveal Plans for 'Extended Hiatus'
Daily Mail UK, 24 August 2015
The dust has barely settled on the news that One Direction are to take an 'extended hiatus' next year to pursue separate paths.
And, while the most obvious choice for the boyband stars is to delve into solo music careers, it has been reported that Harry Styles is actually set to make his mark on Hollywood.
The Sun reports the 21-year-old singer - who rose to fame with his bandmates on The X Factor back in 2010 - is ready to move to Los Angeles.

Movie star future? Harry Styles is reportedly keen to make a go of a Hollywood career, and is thought to be moving to the star-studded city of Los Angeles when One Direction take their hiatus next year
Speaking to the newspaper, former 'N Sync singer Lance Bass, has claimed that the British star - a close friend of his - is going to move Stateside, hinting that he has a career ahead of him on the big screen.
'Harry is going to live in Hollywood, his house is in the same neighbourhood as (TV presenter) Lisa [Rinna]. It will be amazing for Harry,' Lance, 36, explained.

What's next for One Direction as Harry, Niall, Louis and Liam go in different directions?

Liam Payne, 21, wants to spend more time with his girlfriend Sophia Smith and his family.
And professionally, he is hoping to write music for other artists and launching a DJ career.
Harry Styles, 21, has been tipped for solo stardom and The Sun reports that Sony are keen to make him an offer.
However, Harry could turn his back on music for a career in Hollywood and hotshot producer Harvey Weinstein is keen to turn him into a star

Louis Tomlinson, 23, has plenty going on in his personal life and is set to become a dad in the near future following a fling with his friend Briana Jungwirth.
It was also reported earlier this year that he had taken on a role with Sony's 'Be in the Band' search, which aims to find talented female musicians to form a girl group.
Additionally, he has been tipped as a future X Factor judge, returning to the show that made him famous.

Niall Horan, 21, is also reportedly interested in launching a solo career, recently writing with pop pal Justin Bieber.

'I think he will do really well. Harry is a huge star and household name, someone grandmothers know. It is his time, he is very talented and he has some great opportunities.'
The ex-'N Sync star - who has carved out a career in his post-boyband days as a showbiz TV presenter - is also keen to get the first chat with Harry when he makes the move from the UK to Hollywood.

Different Directions: On Sunday it was revealed One Direction - comprised of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - are going to take a break next March after releasing their fifth album
He added: 'I am going to fight for that interview as much as I can. I am working on it already. It will be a huge interview and be great to have Harry on the show.'
And it's not completely out of the realm of possibility: earlier this year, uber-producer Harvey Weinstein revealed he had offered Harry a film role.
The US producer and movie-maker admitted that he intended to give the messy-haired singer - who he dubbed 'super-charismatic' - a role, but that he turned it down.
'There's no question he will enter the movie business. I get from him that he wants to,' Harvey confessed in a previous interview.
He went on: '[Harry] doesn't even have to audition for me. We offered him a part and he couldn't do the movie because he had the tour. The amount of money their tour did is crazy, so he's got obligations.'

'He'll do really well': Former 'N Sync star Lance Bass, a close pal of Harry, claims that the singer will relocate to Hollywood, and that the 21-year-old will be a big success
On Sunday, it was revealed to the newspaper's Dan Wootton by a source that One Direction are to disband after they release their fifth album next year.
A source said: 'The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband.
'They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision.'
According to the paper, the group - who were formed on the UK X Factor in 2010 and have gone on to conquer the world - made the decision during crunch talks in London last weekend and their final show will be at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on October 31.
It has also been claimed they have some work commitments in February and will take their break in March.
The news of the purported split came after the band's producer Julian Bunetta said the guys were going to take some time off.
He said: 'I know they're taking a much-deserved break.'
'They've been doing something that no band has ever done - five albums, five tours, and a movie in five years. It's pretty prolific and incredible. It's up to them. They might take a year off and miss it. They might take a year off and say you know what, I need another year off.'
As it has been reported a movie career might tempt Harry, the other One Direction stars have other avenues to pursue.
Liam Payne, 21, is thought to be keen to want to spend more time at home with his family and long-term girlfriend Sophia Smith, while also harbouring hopes to become a DJ and songwriter for other artists.
Louis Tomlinson, 23, is set to become a father next year when former fling Briana Jungwirth gives birth to their child.
It was also reported earlier this year that he had taken on a role with Sony's 'Be in the Band' search, which aims to find talented female musicians to form a girl group.
Additionally, he has been tipped as a future X Factor judge, returning to the show that made him famous.
And Niall Horan, 21, is another one set for more musical stardom, with a solo career in the offing and having already penned a song with Justin Bieber under his belt.
Zayn Malik, 22, - who sensationally quit the band earlier this year - recently signed a new contract with RCA Records, and is in Los Angeles working on new music.
A representative for One Direction had no comment when contacted by MailOnline.
