Maria Callas- On this tape is just one of my favourites, (I know she excelled in more than just one Aria), but everything she sung, just went, not only above the clouds,,,, but her voice was like a free everlasting butterfly....flying free forever...
Sadly neither could ever achieve that. But as a 1st Sop, her voice went beyond extremes.... best Female Opera Singer - EVER! IMO 
I only ever managed recognition as a 2nd Sop.
But imagine listening to Maria live in the Opera House in Milan.....Bliss
But I thank you so much jenkins4, for joining me to have some fun on the site & enjoy such a good variation of music
