What a great idea!!, but with a lot of costly investigations first eh?.
So Freak how do I register/patent my idea of how I stopped insects eating the veg I grow in my garden,,, I simply drop lots of rice on the channels between each row of the seeds I plant, so just when the first growth of greenery leaves appear, the insects sense that, but munch on the rice first...hence they are full. Especially the ants, cos their stomachs explode when they, and the rest of their family of ants, that they transport the food to,, all die, after they share the rice...
Funny but really true....
No need to spray your veg with costly insecticides
