The beekeepers thank the Lord.

Montecristi, D.R.- A group of beekeepers of the northwest provinces Dajabón, Santiago Rodriguez and Montecristi exported their first honey shipment to the United States, with 9, 600 kilos in around 32 tanks sent to Miami.
The negotiation for the first export was carried out in the Rafael Abel Lora Plant located in the community Villa Sinda in Montecristi province.
The head of the honey producers coop, Fernando -Papo- Molina, speaking to the provinces’ beekeepers and authorities, said the project’s infrastructure was built with government funds, with the assistance of the European Union.
Dominican Today

Gee I wish they hadnt done that. They shouldnt sell their honey. Bees have been decreasing rapidly in the world for the past few years. At such an alarming rate, honey will eventually be in short supply. It is good for many things, not only a good healthy replacement for sugar, but did you know it also helps diabetes??? We many have great gold mines here, but for us humans, the honey is much more important.
