We do it because we can. For a while longer we're still the big dog and the big dog gets to do what ever it wants. But that time is coming to an end. And what happens when a bigger dog comes along and kicks the **** out of the big dog? They wither and die.
Like all great societies we had our good times at the top, but they always come to an end eventually and we are slowly ending ours. There's a price to pay when you say peace, peace, peace out one side of your mouth and the other side says war, war, war. None of this middle east crap needed military involvement. Political leaders could have and should have handled all this.
Pakistan is not a country to trifle with, they have nukes. If we make enemies of them guess where the first nuke will be?
