WWE WWE: Big SummerSlam News-Pay-Per-View

Updated Plans for WWE SummerSlam Pay-Per-View Card

By Bleachersreport on June 13, 2013

SummerSlam is one of the WWE's biggest events of the year, and it seems like the company has some big plans for this year's show.

According to FWOnline, creative have already devised some of the key matches for the event:
Quote:
This past weekend, WWE officials discussed doing Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Kane and The Undertaker at August's SummerSlam pay-per-view. If 'Taker doesn't want to do the match, then it will likely be The Shield vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus.

Other matches being discussed for SummerSlam include John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title, Big E Langston vs. either Big Show or Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio vs. Dean Ambrose, if Rey is able to perform then.

Orton vs. Ryback and Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger also have been discussed for this summer.
The most exciting news to come from that is the piece that was reported around a week ago; that Daniel Bryan could be receiving a big push towards another main event run.
The return of The Undertaker is also a promising prospect, and seeing The Brothers of Destruction back together could make a good pay-per-view great.

Let's hope The Phenom decides to return, because Orton and Sheamus vs. The Shield would just feel stale—especially after the WWE teased a heel turn for the Viper last week.

Also interesting are the plans for the potential return of Rey Mysterio, who could no doubt work an excellent match with Dean Ambrose.

The feuds outlined here are mostly worth getting excited about. Add CM Punk and possibly Brock Lesnar into the mix and we may have one amazing summer ahead of us.
