A rapper who witnessed the shocking Woolwich attack revealed the true horror of the situation as he posted a series of tweets from the scene.
Boya Dee was among a number of eyewitnesses who saw the incident yesterday from start to finish, and described how the suspects tried to attack police officers after hacking at a man with a machete.

He wrote: 'The two black bredas [brothers] run this white guy over then hop out the car and start chopping mans head off with machete!!'

In another dramatic tweet, he added:

'The first guy goes for the female fed [police officer] with the machete and she not even ramping [messing about] she took man out like robocop never seen nutn [nothing] like it.'

It was confirmed by police last night that two men had been arrested and officers from the counter-terrorist unit were leading the investigation into the killing.

Another eyewitness revealed how he watched the two attackers behave like 'crazed animals'.
The man, known only as James, said he and his partner saw two black men attack a young man aged around 20 in a Help for Heroes T-shirt in Woolwich, south-east London, like he was ‘a piece of meat’.

Fighting back tears, he said:

‘They were hacking at this poor guy, literally. They were chopping him, cutting him. These two guys were crazed. They were just animals.
'They dragged him from the pavement, dumped his body in the middle of the road and left (it) there.’
He said that after the ‘horrendous’ attack, the two men, in their 20s, stood around, waving knives and a gun, even asking people nearby to take pictures of them ‘as if they wanted to be on TV’.

‘They were oblivious to anything, they were more worried about having their photo taken, running up and down the road,’ he said. ‘They had no intention of running off or leaving or anything.
‘In my opinion, they were waiting for the police to arrive to be shot by the police. That's the only thing I can think. It's horrendous what they were doing to that guy.’

'CRAZED KILLER SEEN PREACHING IN TOWN CENTRE A WEEK AGO'

An eyewitness claimed one
of the soldier's suspected attackers was seen last week preaching in Woolwich town centre.

The man, identified by Anjem Choudary as Michael Adebolajo, 28, is seen in footage from 2007 standing behind the hate preacher. Tonight Choudary told the MailOnline: 'I think it was a demonstration but it was a long time ago now.'

Jamie France, 29, a musician who lives on the 18th floor of the block of flats which overlook the scene, said: 'I spoke to my mum on the phone and showed her the video footage from the internet and she told me that she recognised one of the men with the knife.
'She said she'd seen him last week preaching in Woolwich town centre.

'She said she remembers him because he'd been really angry and was saying all this political stuff.
'It was the man wearing the black bobble hat (pictured above) in the video.'

When armed police arrived 20 minutes later, 'the man with the beanie hat, the tall guy, he charged at the police vehicle,' James said.
‘A shot was fired by the other guy with the gun.'

Another witness, Julia Wilders, 51, who lives near the scene, said she saw one of the attackers run towards police clutching two meat cleavers.
'He ran towards police before they could even get out of the car, and it looked like the other one was going to lift the gun up,' she said.

'We were driving back and my husband said to me, 'Don't look, they're resuscitating someone'. But apparently they were stabbing him.'

Her husband Graham, 50, said: 'As I drove round I saw a man lying on the floor.
'It looked like another man was trying to resuscitate him, but then he pulled a handgun out in the air.'

He said the person with the gun was a black man, wearing a black top, jeans and a hat.
Mr Wilders added: 'I saw a bunch of schoolkids come up. I shouted at the teachers: "Get the kids in school because there's someone there with a handgun".'

'MY DAUGHTER THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO DIE': PUPILS COWER AS KILLER TOTES GUN NEAR SCHOOL

Shocked pupils cowered in terror as one of the jihadist killers toted a gun near their school, their parents said today.
Children at Mulgrove Primary School heard the popping of gunshots before they were rushed away from windows by teachers and into the safety of the school hall.
Mother-of-two Chkondi Mhango, 34, said her 10-year-old daughter Collete was left terrified she was going to die.
She said: 'She saw a man holding a weapon, a gun. I don't think she saw any blood, but she was really shaken up.
'She kept saying to me "mummy, what if I had died? What if he had come in and shot everybody in the school?"
'I think some of the kids who saw it were by the playground and then they were told to go inside by the teachers.

Worried parents dropped their children off at the primary school in Woolwich this morning ducking under the blue and white police cordon to make their way to the school gates.
Mother-of-two Judy Mason said: 'I feel numb, it is horrific.
'We are scared there might be reprisals. These two monsters are destroying things, holding us back.'

Mr Wilders told the BBC: 'Apparently they actually ran the car into him and knocked him down before they did anything.'
He then described how he saw one of the men pull out a handgun.
'It was a gun that looked as if it could take about 12, 15 rounds so I definitely know it was handgun because I actually seen it in his hand,' he said.
'He didn't fire the gun. All I heard was four shots when the Trojan people turned up. These men actually went for the police with the machetes, knife and handgun.
'I don't think they cared. I don't think they really cared because they went for the police with a handgun. The police were the only ones who did any shooting.'

Remarkably, in the midst of the carnage, one brave woman faced down the killers and calmly asked the armed men if she could nurse the dying soldier.
According to one witness, she begged them: 'Let me comfort him'.
The men shouted that no man could pass before allowing her to kneel beside the body, where she appeared to pray for him.

Joe Tallant, 20, told the Daily Mirror how the woman, in her 50s, approached the men without fear.
He said: ‘She is a very religious woman. She saw everything and wanted to comfort the man.
‘She just walked straight up to them with no fear. She put her hands on his chest and I think she prayed for him. The poor man’s head was beside her.’

A mother confronted the Woolwich attackers, asking them to hand over their weapons and warning them: 'It is only you versus many people, you are going to lose'.

Ingrid Loyau-Kennett, 48, told the Daily Telegraph that one of the attackers said to her that they 'want to start a war in London tonight'.

The mother of two, a Cub Scout leader from Cornwall, added: 'Being a Cub leader I have my first aid so when I saw this guy on the floor I thought it was an accident - then I saw the guy was dead and I could not feel any pulse.
'And then when I went up there was this black guy with a revolver and a kitchen knife, he had what looked like butcher's tools and he had a little axe, to cut the bones, and two large knives, and he said, 'Move off the body'.
'So I thought, 'OK, I don't know what is going on here', and he was covered with blood. I thought I had better start talking to him before he starts attacking somebody else. I thought these people usually have a message so I said, 'What do you want?'
'I asked him if he did it and he said yes, and I said, "Why?" And he said because he has killed Muslim people in Muslim countries, he said he was a British solider and I said, "Really?" And he said, "I killed him because he killed Muslims and I am fed up with people killing Muslims in Afghanistan, they have nothing to do there".'
Mrs Loyau-Kennett said that the attacker seemed to be 'in full control of his decisions and ready to do everything he wanted to do'.
She added: 'I said, "Right now it is only you versus many people, you are going to lose, what would you like to do?" and he said, "I would like to stay and fight".'

Local Muslim Lucky Awale witnessed the attack as she made her way home with her sister.
She said: 'When we got near we saw this guy with dark clothes holding the knife and talking like a crazy man, saying 'this Government needs to change', things like that.
'He wasn't scared, he was saying "call the police".'
She said the men could not be real Muslims but suggested they had their own reasons for doing it.
'We live multiculturally, all kinds of people live here, all kinds of religions,' she added.
'For incidents like this to happen in the name of Muslims, it sends the wrong impression to people like the EDL, thinking that Muslims would be like that.'

Mrs Awale said her sympathy was with the dead man's family and she was scared that such a violent attack could happen where she lived.
She continued: 'We are scared as a community today. My sister lives near here and she is scared to come out, she is scared of the EDL and everything.
'Our kids are big enough to go to school by themselves but today we had to take them because we are scared.
'We are just asking for people not to take the wrong impression, the wrong idea, and take revenge on Muslims.'

Cheryl Spruce, who lives near the incident, told Sky News that a nearby school was put into ‘lockdown’. She said: ‘The police were telling us to take an alternative route to get to school.
‘There were police everywhere. There were 30 to 40 police officers. Police officers in each road were stopping people from walking anywhere. It's mayhem out there at the moment.’

John Wilson Street was shut in both directions between Artillery Place and New Ferry Approach.
