At least seven people have died and 11 are injured after a large cargo plane crashed and exploded during takeoff.
UPS Flight 2976 erupted into a fireball near Louisville International Airport in Kentucky. Flames engulfed at least two businesses near the airport, which handles nearly five million passengers every year.
Terrifying video shared to social media showed the aircraft attempting to takeoff with a ball of fire emanating from its left wing. Just moments later, the plane exploded.
It is thought the seven known fatalities were the pilot and crew of the plane, which was due to travel to Hawaii last night. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said We're asking all Kentuckians to pray for those that have been impacted...
It is still a very dangerous situation with different flammables or potentially explosive materials.
