Donald Trump left more evidence of criminal intent than Richard Nixon, according to Watergate lawyer Nick Ackerman Saturday.

He was asked about how Trump demanded the prosecution of his perceived political enemies, including ex FBI director James Comey.

The host asked, What do you see in the echoes of Watergate And has Trump made Watergate level confessions about an illicit motive

Oh, theres no question, Ackerman replied. He said his biggest problem when prosecuting Nixon was getting evidence that actually showed criminal intent and motive. Here, Donald Trump lays it out on Truth Social. He lays it out in executive orders, Ackerman said. He lays it all out. If I ever had this kind of evidence back then, we would have had a field day.

He said that type of evidence was harder to come by back then, but that Trump is more open about it.

Bush provided details as to how and why the Access Hollywood tape was initially obtained, and how evidence exists that far more yet unseen videos still exist.

When the Access Hollywood tape came out, it was because a contestant in a Miss Universe pageant had said Trump has said terrible things about me, and he said I never talk like that at all, and then NBC sent out to all their divisions look through your tapes, Bush said.

Now, the ones they wanted belonged to Mark Burnett and are in a vault somewhere in Idaho, and those are all the outtakes from The Apprentice set.

Burnett, a thirteen time Emmy Award winner, has a long personal relationship with Trump, with Trump reportedly once calling Burnett a special special friend. Burnett also produced Trumps popular reality television series The Apprentice, which ran from 2004 to 2017, hundreds of tapes of outtakes of which still exist and are in the possession of Burnett, Bush claimed.

Whether any of the unseen tapes will ever come to light, remains unclear. Burnett has denied being a supporter of Trumps presidency, declaring himself in 2016 I am not proTrump, and that he and his wife reject the hatred, division and misogyny that has been a very unfortunate part of his campaign
