Trumps peace plan for Ukraine has emerged from discussions surrounding the recent Putin Trump summit, Reuters reported, citing Western diplomatic sources.

While details remain under negotiation, the blueprint outlines major concessions from both Kyiv and Moscow.

Under the reported plan, Ukraine would be BARRED from joining NATO in exchange for Russian security guarantees, while Kyiv would pull back forces from Donetsk and Luhansk.

In return, Russia would halt hostilities in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia and withdraw troops from Sumy and Kharkiv.

The plan also calls for recognition of Crimeas annexation, wider Russian language rights, and freedom for the Russian Orthodox Church.

Donald Trump has put pressure on Volodymyr Zelenskyy ahead of Mondays talks in Washington with European leaders, saying the Ukrainian president could end the war almost immediately if he wanted to. The US president also ruled out allowing Ukraine to join Nato or retake Russian occupied Crimea as part of negotiations with Moscow.

Trump posted the remarks on his Truth Social platform on Sunday night, hours before he was due to meet European leaders including Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz, and Zelenskyy at the Oval Office in a bid to counter a reportedly US backed plan that would see Ukraine give up territory.

And I hope that our shared strength with America and with our European friends will compel Russia to real peace.
