Default Re: POWER of PRAYER- No Matter Which Faith You Follow=GOD is With You

Amazing Faith

When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith." Luke 7:9

In Luke 7:9, there is a moment in the Bible where Jesus is amazed at the faith of the centurion. Now the centurion, as a man of power, understood what it was to command and be commanded. He also knew he didn't have to have Jesus come to his house for his servant to be made well; he just needed to say the word. The centurion's faith impressed Jesus, and in it is a life lesson about believing and trusting.

We face challenges that, from our perspective, seem impossible to overcome. We find ourselves in situations where we feel powerless, much like the centurion. However, it is in these moments that our faith shines and guides us through the impossible. Beloved, we must acknowledge that no matter what, no matter how it appears or feels, may we all declare today that we will trust in God and His Word.

Every morning, I encourage you to ask God to increase your faith and the faith of others. I challenge you to dedicate time each day to read God's Word and trust it. May you fill your life with scripture -- placing it on your walls, in your car, speaking it aloud over your life -- and watch God start moving in areas you once considered hopeless. Friends, we can join with God and His Word in believing that with Christ, all things are possible. I encourage you to ask the Lord to step in and see it as an opportunity to believe Him for the impossible.

I am reminded of the song
"What Faith Can Do" by Kutless and invite you to pause and listen, and ask the Lord if He is amazed by your faith in Him. You may have to let go of all the things of this world that you have been holding onto and place your complete faith in Jesus to do what He needs to do in your life.

Friends, let us examine our faith today. Do we limit the power of God from working on the impossible? We can, like the centurion, come to Jesus with faith, knowing that our limitations do not bind His authority.

Pray with Me:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this powerful word from Luke 7:9. Lord, I am trusting You to make my faith an extraordinary faith as I live this life, believing You to do what You need to do to make me to be who I am supposed to be by living as a person with remarkable faith in You in order to do all You will do for Your glory! In Jesus Name, Amen.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
