Crossbow triple killer Kyle Clifford sobbed in his wheelchair in a police interview after murdering the wife and two daughters of BBC star John Hunt.

Brave Hannah Hunt called 999 during the attacks and was still alive when police arrived at the home in Bushey, but later died from her wounds

The former soldier has been found guilty of raping his ex girlfriend during a four-hour attack in which he killed her, her mother and her sister.

Kyle Clifford 26, previously admitted murdering BBC racing commentator John Hunts wife Carol Hunt 61, and their daughters Louise 25, and Hannah 28.

He also pleaded guilty to false imprisonment of Louise, who was tied and gagged with duct tape, and possession of the crossbow used to kill her and her sister, and the 10 inch butchers knife he stabbed their mother to death with.

The murderer, who was left paralysed from the waist down after shooting himself in the chest with the crossbow, had been unable to accept that Louise dumped him because of his offensive and belittling behaviour that troubled friends and family.

He cowardly refused to attend trial as he was today found guilty of raping Louise moments after killing her mother and just before shooting her and her sister dead.

The jury retired for just 45 minutes before delivering their verdict, with Clifford found guilty of rape unanimously.

After the guilty verdict, it can now be revealed that Clifford had watched videos of controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate less than 24 hours after carrying out the triple murder.

The court heard the violent misogyny promoted by Tate fuelled Cliffords murderous attacks.

Family and friends applauded from the public area as the guilty rape verdict was read out.

Clifford will be sentenced on Tuesday
