Protests Erupt During JD Vances Vermont Ski Vacation as Hundreds Condemn His Clash with Zelensky












The Vice President was treated to a demonstration against him while he was trying to enjoy a ski weekend, according to a new local report.







J.D. Vance arrived at Sugarbush Resort on Saturday morning to see protestors waiting for him, according to the Boston Globe.




It was anger over Oval Office dispute with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that drew the demonstrators, according to the outlets reporting.


Fresh powder covered the mountains at Sugarbush Resort on Saturday morning as people waited in anticipation for Vice President JD Vances arrival for a ski weekend with his family, the report states. People driving into the resort here saw a line of black Secret Service vehicles with blinking red and blue lights.

The report goes on to say it was Vances tense argument with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office the day before that prompted some to protest of the vice president.

One resort employee, who identified herself as Lucy Welch, went so far as to use Sugarbushs online snow report to publish a lengthy condemnation of the Trump administration and the resorts weekend guest, according to the news report.

Further elaborating on the motives of the individual protestors, the Boston Globe reported, Inside the resort two men who held signs reading Vance is a traitor go ski in Russia, said they were told to leave the resort at around 9:30 a.m.


Dan Vidali, 38, who lives in Montpelier, said Vance coming to Sugarbush for vacation was an insult to all Vermonters. He cannot vacation here without hearing our opposition to his policies, he said, according to the article. He said Vance was destroying democracy and called Fridays confrontation with Zelensky a catastrophe.


Trumps heated clash with Volodymyr Zelensky at the Oval Office has led to the US army losing a fuel supplier. Petrol giant Haltbakk Bunkers said it would no longer sell fuel to US forces in Norway following the way Zelensky was treated as it declared: No fuel to Americans.

Trump is facing a backlash on his Truth Social platform after sharing an AI-created video of him sipping ****tails with a topless Benjamin Netanyahu in Gaza, in a future imagining of the Palestinian territory devastated by Israels war.


The video presented a computer-generated vision of Trumps property development plan for Gaza, under which he said he wants to clean out the population of about 2 million people. Named the Riviera of the Middle East plan, the proposal has been criticised as a blueprint for ethnic cleansing.

Footage shows the strip transformed into a Dubai-style resort with skyscrapers and luxury yachts. Children play on the beach as money rains down and bearded bellydancers gyrate on the sand.





Trump, who says he wants the US to own Gaza, is presented as a revered GOLD icon in the footage. A boy walks along holding a golden balloon of the presidents head and a towering, dictator style statue of Trump overlooks a city street.
