Gerald Genest.
Puerto Plata, DR.– A 53-year-old Canadian man sought by Interpol on pedophilia charges has been arrested at the Gregorio Luperon International Airport, in Puerto Plata, 215 kilometers from Santo Domingo.
According to a press release, Gerald Genest will be turned over to Canadian authorities.
Police say he is accused of sexually assaulting children in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, in 1993, 2002 and 2005.
Genest pleaded guilty in April 2010 to violating a court order barring him from going to parks, pools and other public places where children might gather.

They should leave him in the jail here in the DR. When he is returned to Canada he will be housed in protective custody in jail, as they do in the UK. That is disgusting!!!
Leave him to the inmates in our prisons. They will give him a warm welcome!!! Filthy piece of merde.
Well done to the cops here for finding him, how the heck did the cops in the US and Canada not stop him when he flew out?
