Default Re: POWER of PRAYER- No Matter Which Faith You Follow=GOD is With You

Trusting God

"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." - Psalm 37:5

Psalm 37:5 encourages us to commit our ways to God and trust in Him, and He will help us. The counsel we receive from this verse means we shouldn't try to handle life's problems alone. God did not create us to go through life alone or isolate ourselves when we're faced with issues. Let us call on the Lord each day for help and commit all our ways to Him in full reliance.

Life is filled with surprises and challenges, and the insight from Psalm 37:5 reveals that God wants us to place our total trust in Him, no matter the problems or circumstances we face. Friends, we must trust God! As we commit our ways to the Lord may we also release ourselves from trying to control everything and everyone around us, including family, friends, and co-workers. If we believe that God is in control, then we need to let go of our plans and fears and let Him take care of them.

When we trust and commit our ways to God, we experience freedom beyond anything we could have ever hoped for or imagined. I don't always start here, but when I apply Psalm 37:5, it helps me to make choices and not feel overwhelmed even when I have no idea about what to do next. I believe and trust that God will intervene and do what's best for me according to His plan, and I believe He wants to do the same for you.

I encourage you to memorize Psalm 37:5. As you learn and recite the verse, think about it and reflect on it. May your faith and trust in God grow every day. Today, let's give our plans to the Lord and fully believe in Him to guide us on the right path.

Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing our cry to commit all our ways to You. Lord, we declare that our trust is in You. Thank You for Your love and that You desire what's best for us. In Jesus' name, amen.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
