Cabbie Grant Davies took former immigration minister Robert Jenrick to task



He said that if France could escort dinghies leaving Calais into British waters then our Navy should be allowed to tow them straight back.

Grant - who is the Transport Secretary in the Sun’s Cabinet of readers - said illegal immigration was the main gripe of passengers in the back of his taxi.

TV interviewed a British fisherman to get his experience of asylum seekers crossing the English channel to claim asylum in Britain.

He said that he doesn't understand why the French authorities aren't doing more to stop the boats or detain people before they get onboard a vessel.
