Father puts child in washing machine, - door locks
A father's prank turned into an emergency situation after he put his child into a washing machine that automatically locked and began its wash cycle.
The viral YouTube video is dated May 11th and shows a father putting his son inside a washing machine and not being able to get the child out when the washing machine starts running. The father was reportedly playing Peekaboo with his son and news of this video has gone viral and is a trending high on the Internet.
About twenty-seconds into the video you can see the father put the son in the washing machine, apparently not realizing someone had already put money in the washer, so when the doors shut the washing machine begins spinning with his son inside. On the video you can see the father frantically trying to open the washing machine door but to no avail.
The parents race off for help and that’s when Laundromat employee Kong Eng reportedly comes to the rescue. You can see him running to the washer, seeing the trapped toddler then quickly moving away tables, so he can open the panel at the back of the machines to turn off the washer.
According to the L.A. Times, Despite the undisputed idiocy of the move, which was captured on a video gone viral, there are no plans to arrest the parents. “Right now we just want to make sure the child is OK,” Jason Laughlin, a spokesman for the Camden County prosecutor’s office, told the Associated Press.
The disturbing video has many weighing in leaving comments like,“This stupid idiot of a father AND mother; since she just watched him as he put their child in the washing machine. They both need to be brought up on charges.”
“This is really sad to watch. I can't believe that anyone would want to put there kid in a washer as joke that crazy. Hope the father get parenting class or some help how to be a dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor baby”
