Nick Diaz blames "shady promoter" for BJJ superfight no show
Diaz was originally scheduled to face Estima in the main event of last night's World Jiu-Jitsu Expo, but to disappointment of grappling fans gathered at Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, Diaz simply didn't show up.
Today, he (allegedly) released the following status on
Diaz Brothers official Facebook page, accusing the WJJ Expo organizers for skewing the weigh-in rules.
Diaz is currently under temporary suspension for failing his postUFC 137 drug test. Tomorrow, former Strikeforce Welterweight champion will appear before the Nevada State Athletic Commission for an official disciplinary hearing, looking to avoid a long-term suspension.
