“I Was Forced to Drink Screws” Abused Maid Returns From Saudi

A Sri Lankan maid who returned from Saudi Arabia said that she was forced to drink screws by her employer which resulted in her being hospitalized.

Making an emotional statement at the Katunayake airport, the house maid said that she was continuously abused and assaulted by her employer.

The house maid also said that when she complained to the recruitment agency in Sri Lanka, the agency verbally abused her.
