A £4million mansion revealed its murderous secrets to the brave urban explorer who dared to step foot inside its foreboding doors.
Photos of the derelict building show the exterior of the home covered in moss and overgrown weeds, including over the outdoor pool, while others show the winding staircase and a lonesome bath left behind. Urban explorer, named only Enrique R., explored an abandoned mansion in New Jersey, US, that has a complete indoor basketball court, tennis court and outside pool all still intact.
The home has a tragic backstory, with rumours circulating locally that the owner of the mansion was murdered inside its walls, with his family abandoning the property soon after. According to neighbours the home was built in the late 1900s in a wealthy neighbourhood by a businessman for both him and his family.
"It was built in the late 1900s in a wealthy neighbourhood by a rich man and his family, but after he was eventually murdered inside the home, the doors were closed and his family left immediately. I went not only to see it before it was eventually demolished, but also to preserve the history of it and tell the story of everything that happened.
