The Army reservist who opened fire in the horrific mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, was found dead at the Maine Recycling Corporation in Lisbon Friday from a self-inflicted gunshot.
The discovery at 7.45pm ended an intensive two-day search that had the state on edge. Police say Card had previously been fired from the recycling centre.
He was found dead in an unlocked trailer in the overflow car park of the recycling centre. He was still wearing the same sweater he wore during the shooting.
The particular location had been "cleared twice" by search teams before Card's body was found, police said
But it was not until the recycling park owner alerted police to the existence of the overflow car park, that his body was eventually discovered in a trailer....DUH...
