Policeman Accidentally Tweeted A Plane Crash
Policeman Surrey Tweet Plane Crash Blamed on SmartPhone Pre-sets

Surrey police officer who accidentally tweeted there was a plane crash in his local town has now received a "crash course" in how to properly operate his new smartphone, says a police spokesperson.
The neighborhood bobby was trying out his new phone as part of an initiative to keep the local police in touch with the citizens using networking sites, such as Twitter.
The phone, specially designed for the police force, has pre-set buttons on it 'to cover every eventuality' that only requires one push to send out a mass message.
The unfortunate officer, who has since been described as "inconsolable" after his red-faced blunder, caused a panic when his pre-set tweet told everyone that a plane had crashed in a town centre said it had come down in Camberley, Surrey - the home of the Sandhurst Military Academy.
Concerned citizens flooded the police and emergency lines, trying to find out more information.
The officer has since returned to his beat, and life in Surrey is thankfully back to normal.
