Emergency Landing on A40 Dual Carriageway Near Cheltenham, No Injuries Reported

A light aircraft has come down on the A40 near Cheltenham. Gloucester Airport said the pilot made an emergency landing on the road just before 6pm, because of an engine failure.

The aircraft came down on the Golden Valley bypass near Staverton, which links Gloucester and Cheltenham. Emergency services are currently at the scene.
